As an old farm of the 19th Century to safeguard the authenticity, the house of Payrac became an living institute of the memory of the Country.

The team of the SIVOM of Laouzas and some untiring volunteers are the essential actors to the daring metamorphosis which, from now on, allows to open the doors widely to the memory and the time which passes on pleasant horizons.

Located at the edge of a profound forest, looking at the cultivated fields and the mountains which border the Lac de Laouzas, the house of Payrac is a place of atmosphere, a place of environment to the perfumes and the sounds of other ages as there are, to everybodies taste: resourcing, rest, relaxation, hospitality, shares exchanged or discovered...

The site speaks, seduces, together with its actors. For the summer of 2004, the second summer of reunion, they invite you to share moments of fun and learning throughout the works of old days.

When reading with a candle or gaslamp - and this is not the least of its charms - the house of Payrac refuses electricity to be able to radiate more subtlty under the dancing flame of memory.
